If your basement is in a good state, you can use it as a store room for keeping your extra luggage that you don’t use otherwise.

You can also convert your basement into a living space but if it is face to face with such problems as moisture, your project would take efforts which you won’t feel pleasant. So, the most recommended idea regarding basements is that it must be cleaned and properly maintained even if it’s not in your use.
