It's been a long week. Working in healthcare when a scare such as the H1N1 flu pandemic hits places new and different demands on everyone. Changes in business operations require quick and careful planning and executing to meet a critical concern. And there is no room for error. Some of my colleagues have worked 12 consecutive days as all have been in a wait-and-see mode. Fortunately, we were able to stand down our flu screening center last night and resume normal operations today.
I have no plans for tomorrow and am grateful that the day will unfold to my liking. Most of all, I am so looking forward to a good night's sleep tonight!
